Michelle Lee M.S. CCC-SLP, TSSLD

Michelle is a New York state licensed and American Speech and Language Association (ASHA) Certified speech and language pathologist who lives in Long Island City. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas, Dallas.

Michelle holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate in New York State. She has clinical experience in both private practice and skilled nursing facility settings, working with patients of all ages. Her areas of experience include dysphagia, traumatic brain injury, aphasia, fluency disorders, motor speech disorders, articulation and language delays, pragmatic language, autism spectrum disorder, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

Michelle was inspired to become a speech-language pathologist by her older brother who has autism spectrum disorder. She is passionate about delivering person-centered and neuro-affirming care and developing positive relationships with her patients and their families/caregivers so that her patients can reach their full potential in and outside of the therapy room.
