Lexie Diaz M.S. CCC-SLP
Lexie is a New York State licensed and American Speech and Language (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist. She also holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate in New York State. Lexie earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Communication Disorders from California Baptist University and then went on to work as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for 3 years, serving students grades K-12 in a school based setting. She then received her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Loma Linda University in California.
Lexie has experience across a clinical and school based setting, Lexie has worked with both pediatric and school-aged populations. Lexie has a wide range of speech and language experience, including articulation and phonological disorders, receptive/expressive language disorders, fluency (stuttering), pragmatic language, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Lexie is passionate about working with diverse populations and is a firm believer in collaboration with families to ensure skills are being generalized inside and outside of the therapy room in a fun, supportive, and meaningful way.
