Lesley Ongyaco, M.A., CCC-SLP

Lesley is a New York State–licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist based in Sunnyside, Queens. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University before returning home to complete her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

Now back in New York, Lesley is passionate about supporting individuals with complex communication needs and their families. She holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate and has clinical experience working with multilingual families in school settings, serving children from preschool through high school.

Her professional interests include autism spectrum disorder, multilingual language acquisition, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and advocacy to promote a neurodiversity-affirming society.
