Kelly Gallegos, M.A., CCC-SLP, BE

Kelly is a New York State licensed and American Speech and Language Association (ASHA) Certified Speech and Language Pathologist. She holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate with a Bilingual Extension. Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Language Pathology from Iona College, a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders from Long Island University-Post and a Bilingual Extension Certificate from Teacher’s College Columbia University.

Kelly has experience providing speech and language therapy in clinics and schools with preschool, school-aged children, and adults, in individual and group settings. Kelly has experience treating the following areas: expressive/receptive language delays, literacy deficits, articulation errors, cognitive aspects of communication delays, social aspects of communication delays, and alternative and augmentative communication systems (AAC). Kelly in the process of becoming PROMPT Trained to support learners who benefit from tactile supports. Kelly is enthusiastic and passionate about providing speech and language services with proper strategies to help individuals of diverse backgrounds to become more independent communicators.
