Kathryn Klein

OTR/L

Kathryn Klein is a New York State licensed Occupational Therapist. She earned her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from The University of Saint Augustine and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from Florida Southern College. Kathryn has experience working with all ages and in a variety of different settings but enjoys her most recent roles in outpatient settings (sensory gyms) and schools, working with the pediatric populations (ages 2-21).

Kathryn values ‘therapeutic use of self’ meaning that she collaborates with her clients and their families to determine interests that motivate and facilitate participation towards reaching a client’s goals. Occupational therapy sessions can include but are not limited to working on the following skills: Sensory processing, fine motor, gross motor, visual motor and visual perceptual, and activities of daily living (i.e. tying shoes, getting dressed, etc.). Being able to engage and participate functionally in daily tasks is important – that’s why Kathryn always strives to help your child put the FUN into FUNction!
