Jessica Suarez is currently a Clinical Fellow and received her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Lehman College. She holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certificate in New York State.
Jessica has experience providing individualized therapeutic and diagnostic services to pediatric and adult populations with receptive/expressive language impairments, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders, cognitive communication disorders, autism spectrum disorder, alternative and augmentative communication, and aphasia. She has worked in a variety of clinical, academic, and organizational settings to deliver individual and group therapy to culturally and linguistically diverse clients.
Jessica is passionate about achieving her clients’ communicative potential by collaborating with her clients and caregivers to identify appropriate goals and develop unique strategies and therapeutic approaches for treatment. Since Jessica has both Greek and Spanish heritage, she enjoys learning languages. Jessica is an intermediate Spanish and Portuguese speaker, beginner in Greek, and regularly completes lessons to improve all her languages.
