Becca Mitri

Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Boston University and then went on to work as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant  (SLPA) in Los Angeles for 2 years. As a SLPA, Rebecca worked in an Early Intervention Clinic and in home-care, providing support for users of Augmentative and Alternative Communication and their families. Rebecca earned her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and is certified in SpeakOut! And LOUD Crowd. 

Rebecca has experience working with a wide variety of ages, from birth to 70, and a range of conditions including autism spectrum disorder, expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and acquired cognitive-communication disorders. Becca has completed the Natural Language Acquisition training program from the Meaningful Speech coursework to support gestalt language processors.

Rebecca values individuality in her clients and ensures that treatment is personalized for the client’s interests and needs. She is passionate about making treatment functional and motivating for her clients and is committed to achieving their speech and language goals.
